Merlin Gerin & Telemecanique to become Schneider Electric
Brand migration will occur in two stages
Stage one
The first stage is a change of packaging which began in August of 2008. This change only involves the visual aspect of the packaging. Other aspects remain unchanged such as the product reference number, dimensions, weights and lot sizes, and the label indicating the product information.
Stage two
This stage is the replacement of the Merlin Gerin and Telemecanique brands on the products with the Schneider Electric brand. As with the changes on the packaging, the only thing that will change will be the visual aspect. The product functions, technical features, reference number, dimensions, weights, lot sizes and label indicating the product information will remain exactly the same. This will take place over a two year period starting in April of 2009.
